![]() My assumption is the original issues referenced above still exist, as nothing worked on the old PC with the 3.4.2 client when I tested it. So something with copying the NextCloud config file from one PC to another causes issues with syncing and noticing changes. I then installed 3.3.6 and manually recreated each synced folder (leaving virtual files off, not sure if that makes a difference) and it appears to be working again. I uninstalled everything and cleared all the user profile data from the new PC. It appears that if you copy the NextCloud settings from one PC to another, the folders do not sync right. New files get ignored entirely.Īny tips to get it at least semi-working? I am about ready to blow my server away and go back to 22.X, just a lot of time and work that I want to avoid if possible. If I re-add, it sometimes detects the re-added files. If the file exists before, and I delete it, it detects the delete. I have also tried files in varying sizes, from a few KB to many MB. Tried upgrading to 3.4.2 and down to 3.3.3, the same problem exists. ![]() Copied settings and data from old PC, but the issue still exists. The new PC does not detect new files unless the client is closed and reopened, only randomly in random folders. Now I have a new PC, so I installed 3.3.6 directly to avoid the problem, but it did not resolve the issue. Ran into the 3.4.X problem and commented above. The server version has upgraded through time, while this older PC was using it. I have 3.3.6 installed and was working great on a computer that has had NextCloud desktop client for at least a year. I seem to be having the issue even more now.
